LGBTI+ Awareness Training is essential for fostering inclusivity, respect, and understanding in workplaces, schools, colleges and communities. Through LINQ Ireland’s interactive training sessions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of challenges faced by LGBTI+ identities, inclusive language, allyship and practical strategies for creating supportive environments. We are delighted to offer this half day practical LGBTI+ awareness training for those who work or volunteer with people and would like the skills to support LGBTI+ people.

Learning Outcomes

  • Become familiar with the current terminology and definitions

  • Demonstrate an increased awareness of the issues and challenges that LGBTI+ people face
  • Be confident in engaging and supporting LGBTI+ people
  • Begin to develop a plan around how to create an LGBTI+ inclusive and safe environment

This training can be delivered online or in person.
