LINQ Ireland is delighted to welcome our new Executive Director. Niamh Kennedy (They/Them) is a community organiser based in Cork city since 2024. Niamh has held Student Union positions in Limerick and nationally for 3+ years, most recently in AMLÉ as the Vice President for Equality and Citizenship, proudly advocating and representing students from diverse backgrounds across Ireland.
Since 2018, they have been successfully organising events in Limerick and Cork for the queer community. From high-energy, DIY parties to events catered to local community development. Niamh graduated from LSAD with a BA in Print Contemporary Practice in 2022 with a body of work that centers around lesbian sexuality, experience and love. Niamh champions compassion, community focused care, policy development and lots of cups of tea in their work.
